The Warrior Wounds series—Warrior Wounds 2, 3, and 4—depicts the internal war within the mind and soul, a battle that evolves from pain into healing, and eventually, into joy. These vivid abstract paintings are filled with bold color, large brushstrokes, and an undeniable sense of movement. Each piece captures the raw intensity of struggle, yet pulses with life and hope, reminding us that wounds, whether physical or emotional, are capable of transformation.
The paintings feature rich cadmium reds, striking magentas, and crisp whites, punctuated by splashes of green and teal. The brushstrokes are intentionally large and expressive, conveying the chaos and energy of the battle, as well as the resilience and strength it takes to heal. Each stroke is alive with feeling—sometimes fierce, sometimes playful—reflecting the journey from wounds to joy, from brokenness to light.
These artworks stand as a testament to the healing power of transformation. Though sold individually, each painting complements the others, contributing to the greater story of resilience, healing, and the pursuit of joy.
